19 arrested for drug warrants in Pope County as part of 'Operation First Wave'

19 people are now in the Pope County Detention Center on felony drug warrants after a collaborative operation by multiple law enforcement agencies.

"Operation First Wave" was conducted on Tuesday, which led to the arrest of 19 people. Sheriff Shane Jones released only 13 of the 19 arrested, saying that 6 are still under investigation.

On Wednesday, Sheriff Jones said all arrests were made in different locations around Pope County.

In a release from the Pope County Sheriff's Office, Sheriff Jones said this was a collaborative effort between the 5th Judicial Drug Task Force, the Pope County Sheriff's Office, Arkansas State Police, and the Russellville Police Department.

This is still an ongoing investigation. Authorities say additional felony warrants are expected to be served.

The Pope County Sheriff's Office released the following names as those arrested in "Operation First Wave":

Tameran Bagby - Delivery of controlled substance, FTA, Held for another department, $5,000 bond.

Tiffany Bagby - Delivery of meth or cocaine, FTA, Held for another department, $5,050 bond.

Charles Bland - Delivery of meth or cocaine, $5,050 bond.

Maggie Casey - Hindering apprehension or prosecution, $5,000 bond.

Richard Charette - Delivery of meth or cocaine, $25,050 bond.

Brad Hill - Possession of controlled substance, $25,050 bond.

Arley Hurst - Delivery of meth or cocaine, $5,050 bond.

Melisa Kizer - Hindering apprehension or prosecution, $5,000 bond.

Anthony Langley - Delivery of meth or cocaine, parole violation, body attachment for child support, $15,050 bond.

Dillon Pettus - Delivery of meth or cocaine, $5,050 bond.

Melissa Savage - Delivery of meth or cocaine, possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver, $5,050 bond.

Angela Thompson - Delivery of meth or cocaine, $5,050 bond.

Tina Wilkins - Obstructing governmental operation, possession of controlled substance, $5,000 bond.
