2 arrested for Hot Springs BB gun attacks

HOT SPRINGS (AP) - Two men have been arrested for allegedly driving around Hot Springs and taking shots with a BB gun at random people.

On alleged attack occurred when two women were jogging Saturday downtown on Central Avenue's Bathhouse Row. 1 of the women was shot in the hip.

The Sentinel-Record reports a second attack about 10 blocks south on Central Avenue just minutes later.

Police stopped the vehicle, which had three people in it along with a BB gun.

Authorities charged 19-year-old Henry Oliver Samuel Simpson and 20-year-old Joshua Samuel Holtzclaw, both of Hot Springs, with felony committing a terroristic act. A 16-year-old boy was in the truck, resulting in misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a minor charges for the adults.

The men are free on bond pending a court appearance.
