2 arrested in Johnson County courthouse threat
CLARKSVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Two men have been arrested for allegedly calling in a bomb threat to the Johnson County courthouse.
Authorities said Wednesday that 33-year-old Anthony Stepp of Clarksville and 46-year-old Gregory Marshall of Scranton are each charged with felony communicating a false alarm. Officials say bond was set at $1 million for each.
The Southwest Times Record reports (http://is.gd/VBjZwd ) a threat was phoned in at the courthouse in Clarksville at 8:45 a.m. Friday and the building was evacuated.
No bomb was found and the building reopened about 45 minutes after everyone had to go outside.
Stepp and Marshall were arrested later Friday.
