Two dead in Alexander shooting.

ALEXANDER, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say two people have been found dead at a home in a Little Rock suburb.Troopers said Saturday that two people entered a home on Vine street and highway 111 in Alexander on Friday night around 11:45 P.M. and began shooting.

Alexander police asked state police to take charge of the investigation.State police spokesman Bill Sadler said witnesses told investigators there were more than 20 people in the home when two men entered and started shooting. No other injuries were reported. It isn't known if the two victims were targeted specifically. Suspects have not been identified.

Police identified the two who were shot and killed as Joe Thomas Dickinson, 40, of Little Rock and Patricia Tucker, 54, of Alexander.

Witness Johnny Hope says Tucker was his girlfriend. He claims a gambling dice game was taking place in the house with $5,000 to $6,000 present.

"They busted through the door and said nobody move," said Hope recalling what happened when shooters came into the house.

Alexander is just southwest of Little Rock, on the Pulaski-Saline county line.
