2 killed in single-vehicle crash in Camden

CAMDEN, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say two people were killed after a Stephens man lost control of his SUV and crashed into several trees in Camden.

Arkansas State Police say the deadly crash happened Thursday on U.S. 79. According to a preliminary report, 29-year-old James Bevins was driving south on the highway when he lost control of his vehicle and drove off the road.

The report says Bevins crashed into several trees.

State police say Bevins was killed in the crash, along with his passenger, 24-year-old Shawna Bevins.
