20 indicted in Crittenden County drug investigation
WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (AP) - State, local and federal authorities have announced the indictment of 20 people as part of a drug investigation in Crittenden County.
U.S. Attorney Chris Thyer, FBI acting Special Agent in Charge Howard Marshall, Arkansas State Police Col. Stan Witt and West Memphis Police Chief Donald Oakes announced Monday that that 20 are named in a 25-count indictment alleging drug conspiracy and firearms violations.
Thyer says the investigation was called Operation Delta Crossroads and focused primarily on drug trafficking in West Memphis.
