(KATV) Little Rock - It's almost time to crownthe 2012 State Fair Rodeo Queen. The ladies competing are judged onpersonality, appearance and horsemanship. At a lunch they were asked a questionthat could be about anything from current events to roping event penalties.
Several of the contestantshave a background in rodeo and while beauty is important, there's more towinning this pageant.
2011 State Fair Rodeo QueenLily Rowland says, "When you win this title, you have the opportunity to attendrodeos and you get to push cows and it's good if you have a background of beingable to work cattle. I think that's one thing that separates us apart from thefair queens is you really have to be able to ride a horse."
