2013 Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp Player to Watch: Knile Davis

There is serious optimism within the Kansas City Chiefs fanbase for the first time in a while. This offseason, the team went out and brought in a tenured head coach in Andy Reid. They also solidified their quarterback position when they took in former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith.

The two big-time additions should fare well when combined with the talent that already exists on their offense. Running back Jamaal Charles and wide receiver Dwayne Bowe are established Pro Bowl talents and with the experience of Reid and Smith, the offense should bode much better in 2013.

The Chiefs took a chance with their third round pick and drafted Arkansas running back Knile Davis. Davis will back up Charles and, if all goes according to plan, will get some carries here and there in order to spell Charles a bit.
