3 die in separate auto accidents in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK (AP) - The Arkansas State Police say three people have been killed in separate auto accidents in the state.

The victims died Sunday in crashes in White, Independence and Marion counties.

Troopers say 57-year-old Mark Dobbs of Bull Shoals was killed near Pyatt when a tractor-trailer rig swerved to avoid another accident and crashed into Dobbs' vehicle about 4 p.m. Sunday.

53-year-old Joseph Moody died when his vehicle went off an Independence County road and crashed into a rock wall and a tree just after 7 a.m. And 66-year-old Wayne Tanner of Searcy died just after 3 p.m. when he was thrown from the pickup truck he was riding in after the driver veered into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle.
