4 inductees named for Ark. Business Hall of Fame
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Business Hall of Fame has announced its new inductees for 2014.
The University of Arkansas announced Monday that the four new members will be honored in a ceremony Feb. 7 in Little Rock. The new inductees are: James Faulkner of Little Rock, Mack McLarty of Little Rock and Mark Simmons of Siloam Springs. Stanley Reed of Marianna will be inducted posthumously.
Faulkner established a public relations firm in 1957 that grew to be a leader in the mid-South region. McLarty has served as adviser to presidents Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter, while Simmons is the chairman of Simmons Foods Inc. & Affiliates.
