PINE BLUFF (KATV) - Five suspects are in custody after three robberies across Pine Bluff.

Five victims were robbed in a single incident August 18 on the north side of Pine Bluff near UAPB. According to police, 22-year-old Tevin Cole, 27-year-old Jerome Cole and 19-year-old Lorenzo Porter were all involved in that robbery.

Both Tevin and Jerome Cole were also charged in a robbery at 1201 N.Magnolia Street on August 24. The two reportedly stole a woman's purse at gunpoint, dragging her to the ground in the process. Police say one of them fired a shot during the incident, but no one was hurt and no property was damaged by the shot.

On August 25, a man told police that two men - later identified as 42-year-old Clifton Welch and 37-year-old Jeffrey Cole - knocked on his door, pointed a gun at him and demanded his money and cigarettes. The victim was not hurt.

Detectives do not believe the first two robberies are connected to the third.

All five men were charged with aggravated robbery.
