JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - The executive committee of the Democratic Party of Arkansas has set filing fees for candidates for office during the 2014 election cycle.
The committee voted on the fees Saturday during its meeting in Jonesboro.
The fees to run for governor and U.S. Senate were set at $12,000 each and the fee for running for the U.S. House of Representatives will be $10,000.
The fees to run for lieutenant governor and attorney general will be $7,500 each and races for secretary of state; state treasurer; state auditor and land commissioner are $6,000 each to enter as a Democrat.
