Ark. State's Harsin plans Little Rock appearances

LITTLE ROCK (AP) - New Arkansas State football coach Bryan Harsin is planning a pair of appearances in Little Rock on Tuesday.

The Red Wolves coach is scheduled to speak at the Downtown Rotary Club 99 at noon Tuesday at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Little Rock.

Later on, Harsin will be joined by Arkansas State athletic director Terry Mohajir for a meet & greet event at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Cajun's Wharf in Little Rock.

Harsin was named as Arkansas State's coach after Gus Malzahn left to take the head coaching job at Auburn. Last year, the Red Wolves went 10-3 and beat Kent State in the GoDaddy.Com Bowl.

Arkansas State opens its season Aug. 31 against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
