Arkadelphia man charged with capital murder pleads not guilty
ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (AP) - A man charged with capital murder for the slayings of two young girls and their stepfather in Arkadelphia is pleading not guilty.
Riakos Lizana entered the pleas on Friday in circuit court, speaking only to utter the words "not guilty." He didn't respond to questions as he was being led from the courtroom.
On Dec. 6, the mother of the girls and wife of their stepfather found the bodies in their home. Killed were 40-year-old Bobby Jean Galbraith, 6-year-old Adiele Crutchfield and 4-year-old Marley Crutchfield. Lizana was arrested two days later.
Authorities have not discussed a possible motive for the killings.
