Third annual Arkansas Cornbread Festival

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - Mouths were watering Saturday as people lined up to taste the offerings at this year's Arkansas Cornbread Festival in Little Rock.
The festival is held along South Main Street from 13th to 15th Streets.
Festival visitors were entertained with music from live bands while taking in everything this year's vendors had to offer.
The most important part was the cornbread competition.
Matthew Bell of South on Main restaurant said the event is more community involvement and less direct competition.
"Well that's really what I want to see in Little Rock is people really paying attention to these hardworking local restaurants and even some of the food trucks that are here competing," Bell said. "I think it's a really fantastic event to get everybody out here and get everybody visible to this many people."
Channel 7's Renee Shapiro was one of the celebrity judges.
She voted for South on Main for the "Best Professional" prize.
