LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas finance officials say the state's revenue in August was higher than the same month last year and ahead of their expectations.
The Department of Finance and Administration said Wednesday the state's net available revenue in August totaled $398.3 million. That's $10.5 million higher than the same month last year and $12.3 million more than forecast.
The state's net available revenue for the fiscal year that began July 1 is $2.5 million above forecast.
