RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas Tech is pursuing a new master's degree program in health and physical education.
Trustees on Thursday approved a letter of intent to create the degree program in strength and conditioning studies.
The proposal will be submitted to the Arkansas Department of Higher Education Coordinating Board. The panel could consider the program next spring.
Organizers still have to complete the full proposal and send it for review by faculty governance and the Arkansas Tech Board of Trustees.Copyright 2013 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
