Arkansas unemployment rate dips in May to 6.4 pct.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Unemployment in Arkansas has dropped for the eighth consecutive month, falling two-tenths of a percentage point to 6.4 in May.
The Department of Workforce Services on Friday said the state unemployment rate was down more than a full percentage point from May a year ago.
The national unemployment rate was unchanged at 6.3 percent in May.
