Arkansas work release escapee recaptured

ROGERS, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas Department of Correction authorities say an inmate who walked away from the Springdale Work Release Center has been recaptured.Department spokeswoman Shea Wilson told reporters that 31-year-old Clayton Eugene Shatswell Jr. was found Saturday in a wooded area behind a home in Rogers after the homeowner reported suspicious activity in the area.Authorities say Shatswell was serving a 121-month sentence for a Benton County forgery conviction when he walked away from the work release center shortly before 9 p.m. Friday.(Copyright 2014 The Associated Press.
