HOT SPRINGS (KATV) - An arrest has been made in the death of a grandmother who was killed when a truck crashed into her home.
Mary Duke, 87, was killed instantly when the truck slammed into her bedroom in the early morning hours of August 20.
Officers said the driver of the truck, 20-year-old Nickollas Roe, left before police arrived but they got a blood alcohol sample from him soon after. The results registered a 1.3.
Roe was charged with negligent homicide, leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated.
