Arsenal plans explosions Monday-Wednesday

WHITE HALL, Ark. (AP) - The Pine Bluff Arsenal is advising nearby residents to not be alarmed by explosions and plumes of smoke.

The arsenal says it will be conducting controlled explosions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with personnel from Little Rock Air Force Base.

Officials say hunting and fishing near Yellow Lake will be restricted while the detonations are taking place. Also, access to the Arkansas River through the arsenal will be closed.
