ASO asks for public's help in selecting new venue

The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra is looking for a home away from home while Robinson Center Music Hall undergoes renovations, and they're wanting your opinion on possible options.

On Friday, March 29th at 7:15 p.m. ASO will conduct a rehearsal in the Wally Allen Ballroom, and they're hoping the public will come and fill up the venue, so they can test the sound quality and get feedback. The rehearsal is free to attend.

In addition, a task force of ASO board members, staff members and musicians are studying other possible venues.

There is limited seating for the March 29th rehearsal, so if you want to go call 501-666-1761, ext. 114 or email Kelly Parker at

The Robinson Center Music Hall renovations are expected to cost more than $64 million dollars, and be completed in the fall of 2016.
