ASU student recovering after being impaled with golf club

An ASU student is getting better, as she recovers from an accident at a fraternity house last month. Officials say doctors upgraded Natalie Jo Eaton's condition from critical to serious. Witnesses say a student was swinging a golf club to hit a football when the club broke and a piece of it impaled Eaton. A fragment hit Eaton's spine and an artery. No charges have been filed.
