ATF investigating Little Rock church fire

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Federal investigators have begun looking at a Little Rock fire that destroyed the First Baptist Church at Highland Park, causing $1.5 million in damage.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said Wednesday a team is investigating the fire that congregants found when they arrived for Sunday services.

The ATF says it is working with the Little Rock Fire Department, Arkansas State Fire Marshal's Office, and the Arkansas State Police to determine how the fire started.
