A workhorse of World War II and the Korean War is flying into Little Rock.
A B-29 Superfortress bomber will be on display and take paying customers on short flights September 22nd and 23rd. Central Flying service at the Clinton National Airport will host the 2012 Showcase of Aircraft featuring the B-29 along with a C-45 Expeditor and other new and vintage aircraft.
According to a news release this is the only remaining "flying" example of the B-29. The B-29 was the aircraft used to drop nuclear bombs over Japan near the end of World War II.
Visitors can either fly on the plane, or tour the cockpit or both during the two day show.
