Baxter County woman turns herself in on forgery, theft charges
MOUNTAIN HOME (KATV) - A 26-year-old woman turned herself in Thursday evening on a weeks-old case of check theft and forgery.
Baxter County Sheriff John F. Montgomery said in a press release Victoria Moser stole several blank personal checks then forged them to North Arkansas Electric, Suddenlink and McDonald's. Together, she allegedly spent $400.47.
Moser was charged with three felony counts of forgery and a misdemeanor count of theft of property. She is being held in the Baxter County Detention Center in lieu of a $15,400 bond.
She is due in Circuit Court on October 4.
