Police: Benton burglar caught in the act

BENTON (KATV) - A Benton man was arrested Wednesday after he was allegedly caught burglarizing a house with the homeowner inside.

Police were called to 4411 Donna Drive around 8:45 that morning when the homeowner said she heard him get inside. Investigators said they found 35-year-old David Miller still inside the home when they got there. The homeowner was not hurt.

Miller faces nine charges, including two counts of possession of a controlled substance because police allegedly found him with some of the homeowner's prescription medications.
