The clerk told police a man armed with a gun took an undisclosed amount of money and left the scene.
Officers later identified 18-year-old Michael Ray as the suspect and arrested him.
Police also arrested the clerk, 22-year-old Anthony Honeysuckle, after their investigation led them to believe he had planned the robbery with Ray beforehand.
