Boozman recovery continues after heart surgery

ROGERS, Ark. (AP) - U.S. Sen. John Boozman's office says the Republican from Arkansas is continuing in his recovery from heart surgery.{}{} {}Boozman's surgeon, Dr. E.J. Chauvin, said Friday that Boozman will be able to fully return to his duties without any restrictions.{}{} {}Boozman went to a hospital Tuesday when he suffered chest and shoulder pains. Doctors found Boozman had experienced an acute aortic dissection - a tear in his aorta - and had to operate to replace his ascending aorta.{}{} {}Chauvin says Boozman is in excellent physical condition and that is helping his recovery.{}{} {}Boozman spokesman Patrick Creamer says the senator has been walking, talking with family and friends and also spoke to his chief of staff.
