Calif. woman killed, man hurt in Hot Springs crash

HOT SPRINGS (AP) - Arkansas State Police say a California woman was killed and her husband injured in a collision on Arkansas Highway 7 in Hot Springs.

Troopers say 64-year-old Joyce Lynn Bonnett of Saratoga, Calif., died in the Friday crash when the motorcycle her husband was driving turned over on its side after a truck pulling a trailer pulled into their lane of traffic. Investigators say Bonnett was thrown under the wheels of the trailer.

Bonnett's husband - 65-year-old Donald Bonnett - was hospitalized in Hot Springs. His condition was not released. Troopers say the driver of the truck was not injured.
