EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) - A California man has been sentenced to more than 22 years in prison for an Arkansas bank robbery.
U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge in the Western District of Arkansas says 33-year-old Aaron Blaylock was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty in April in connection with the armed robbery of First Financial Bank in El Dorado.
Eldridge says Blaylock and three co-defendants - including a former bank employee - who earlier pleaded guilty in the case were each ordered to pay more than $53,000 in restitution for the Dec. 30, 2011 robbery.
Court records say the four defendants robbed bank tellers at gunpoint as they were refilling ATM machines. No injuries were reported.Copyright 2014 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
