Central Arkansas volunteers prepare life-saving meals for children
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - The Arkansas Dream Center and the organization "Feed My Starving Children" joined together Saturday to prepare meals for starving children in the developing world.
Hundreds of volunteers gathered to pack 100,000 life-saving meals at an FMSC MobilePack event.
FMSC ships scientifically formulated MannaPack(TM) meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.
MobilePack events enable children and adults across the United States to pack these life-giving MannaPackTM meals.
Churches, businesses, community groups, and schools in more than 30 states have hosted these food-packing events as a way to foster teamwork and unity, while making a real difference in the problem of hunger.
Central Arkansas community members could support this MobilePack by making a donation for food production costs or volunteering at the event.
"Feed my Starving Children" is a non-profit Christian organization based in Minnesota.
