Christina Munoz assists Chef Mark Abernathy at fundraiser

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - Monday night, highly skilled chefs came together with not-so-highly skilled assistants.

Christina Munoz was honored to be one of those assistants at the Governor's Culinary Challenge tonight at the Capital Hotel.

Each chef offered up a dish of choice, Christina helped serve with Chef Mark Abernathy who made smoked catfish chili relleno with a Serrano stone ground mustard cream sauce and toasted pinon nuts.

All the money raised went to the Thea Foundation Scholarship Program, which in its history has made available more than 2.2 million dollars to Arkansas high school seniors seeking a higher education.
