Clinton Foundation sets '14 health, economic goals
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Clinton Foundation has released its 2014 list of goals for improving health, education and economic conditions through programs in the United States and abroad.
Former President Bill Clinton sent a letter to supporters on Tuesday outlining the programs for the year ahead.
The foundation intends to expand a project for U.S. schools that creates healthier learning environments for children and it's working to make it affordable for homeowners and businesses to update energy systems so they reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Clinton says the group is increasing treatment for HIV/AIDS patients in developing countries and expanding a farm project to Tanzania.
The foundation is also working to provide job training to 20,000 low-income workers in Colombia over the coming 10 years.Copyright 2014 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
