(KATV, Source: Clinton School of Public Service) Little Rock - Students fromthe University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service will collectdonations from November 16 - November 18 to send to New York for the reliefefforts following Superstorm Sandy.
The students are requesting donations of nonperishable food items that will besent to the New York City Food Bank in Brooklyn, as well as work boots thatwill be sent to the hard-hit Rockaways community in Brooklyn.
Monetary donations for the relief efforts will also beaccepted. Checks can be made payable to the University of Arkansas Foundationwith "Clinton School Sandy Relief" written in the note line.
Collection containers will be open Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturdayfrom 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in theClinton School parking lot at 1200 President Clinton Avenue in downtown LittleRock. Students will be on-site to help unload items.
