Construction means another detour in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas highway officials say drivers in west Little Rock can expect another detour at the Big Rock interchange this week.

The State Highway and Transportation Department says there will be a detour at the Interstate 430/630 interchange as workers hang large beams.

The detour will start Wednesday at 6 a.m. and continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, weather permitting.

The work will prevent access to the northeast loop ramp. So drivers traveling northbound on I-430 who want to travel west on Financial Centre Parkway or Chenal Parkway will need to take the Shackleford Road exit.
