You might recognize CAC's new home. It's the former National Home Center building on Landers Road in Sherwood. They're busting at the seams, this 146,000 square foot building offers more space than their 40-thousand square foot facility.
Governor Beebe was on hand for the announcement and says it's a good day in Arkansas when you add good paying jobs. "That money turns over several times and allows folks to buy cars, groceries and also sorts of things so it's really a win win for the people of Arkansas."
Paul Reesnes with Custom Aircraft Cabinets says, "We plan on doing more after that so we needed a big enough building we could expand into and if we needed to add on to this building we can because we have acreage as well."
The average hourly pay is 15 to 20 dollars and Custom Aircraft Cabinets will invest an estimated 5.9 million in the expansion.
More good news, CAC's growth means their sister company, Reliable Fire Protection is adding 20-jobs at a nearby facility.
