UPDATE (3:10 p.m.): In a press conference held Monday afternoon, Yell Co. Sheriff Bill Gilkey reported Brian Floyd's green truck was found early Monday afternoon in a remote area off Forest Service Road 18 in a "very treacherous area".
The missing father has a history as an outdoorsman and has spent a lot of time in the woods. Gilkey says he feels 10-month-old Harper Floyd could be in danger, and that Brian Floyd should be "treated as armed and dangerous, as a precaution to the public". Sheriff Gilkey said an Amber Alert for Harper was not issued because it did not meet the criteria.
Gilkey says the disappearance is still being worked as a search and rescue and they are taking every effort necessary to resolve the situation.
Brooke Floyd, the wife of Brian and mother of Harper, is not in jail, but is being questioned by investigators and is being very helpful.
