Digital company to open in downtown Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A company that specializes in developing personalized mobile communications from large amounts of data is to hire 35 people for a new operation in downtown Little Rock.

nGage Labs announced Friday that the 35 positions will have an average annual salary of $100,000 per year. The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based company is getting $1 million from the Governor's Quick Action Closing Fund.

The center is to open in the River Market District, where workers will develop computer code to deliver real-time messages for shoppers, people eating at restaurants, sports fans and others.

The company says its work boosts the number of customer interactions and brings about increased sales for companies with mobile sites.
