2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Cayenne pepper to taste (start with 1/4 teaspoon)
I like to make a big batch and store it in a recycled jar so it's alwaysready. Just measure out 1/4 cup of seasoning mix for every pound of meat.
Brown SugarAdd 1 tablespoon ofmolasses for each cup of sugar
Ketchup6 ounce can tomato paste 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup white vinegar 1/4 water1 T sugar1 tsp salt 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp garlic powder Combine in medium saucepan over medium heat.When mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirringoftenRemove pan from heat and cover until cool. Chill and serve. Makes 1 1/2cups.
