Doctor charged with 3 more voyeurism counts

PARAGOULD, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a Paragould gynecologist accused of taking nude photographs of a patient faces additional charges after three more patients came forward and said he took pictures of them.

A Greene County district judge found probable cause Tuesday to charge Paul Becton with three more counts of felony video voyeurism. Becton is already charged with five counts and has pleaded not guilty.

Becton was arrested in April after authorities say a female patient told Paragould police that he used a cellphone to take photos of her during an exam. Arkansas State Police investigators say they found many images of nude women on Becton's cellphone.

He was released from jail after posting bond.

A message left with Becton's attorney wasn't immediately returned Wednesday.
