LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas officials say more than 100 law enforcement agencies are taking part in a prescription drug take-back event.
The agencies are urging Arkansas residents to use the Saturday event to dispose of unneeded prescription medicines.
The take-back sites enable the drugs to be disposed of safely.
Washington County Sheriff Tim Helder says the event also prevents abuse or accidental ingestion of medications.
Officials say there are no questions asked at the drop-off points.
Organizers have a website with locations.
