MORO (Times-Herald) - A Moro man was arrested on DWI charges after getting a truck and trailer stuck in a local car wash.
Officers with the Forrest City Police Department were called to the Splash Carwash Friday afternoon after it was reported that a truck was stuck in the car wash. When officers arrived, they found the truck, driven by John Jay Hinkle, 40, of Moro, wedged between the rails and the car wash. The officer reported that Hinkle had slurred speech and appeared to be intoxicated so the Arkansas State Police was called for assistance.
According reports from troopers, Hinkle admitted to taking Oxycontin and drinking earlier in the day.
Hinkle was arrested on charges of second offense DWI, no proof of insurance, driving with a suspended driver's license for DWI, careless or prohibited driving, with an accident, and no proof of insurance, with an accident.
