      A new Talk Business{}& Politics research and Hendrix College poll{}asking a whopping 1780 likely voters last week who they'd back in the U.S. Senate race.

      Republican challenger Tom Cotton is the leader. but, by a slim margin. 44% back Cotton. 42% said they'd vote for incumbent Mark Pryor. 4% chose Green Party candidate Mark Swaney, 3% selected Libertarian Nathan LaFrance and{} remain undecided. the poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.3%.Talk Business will release the results of a new poll in the Governor's race Wednesday, and later in the week, new poll numbers in the Congressional races.Tom Cotton picked up the endorsement of both the National Right to Life and Arkansas Right to Life organizations on Tuesday. The anti-abortion group citing Cotton's co-sponsorship of a bill that would've banned abortions after the first trimester except in certain circumstances. Cotton released a statement saying he was pleased to accept the endorsement, adding{}"As a{}U.S. Senator, he will stand up to protect life and will fight to ensure Arkansans never see their hard-earned tax dollars spend on abortions."Pryor for Senate spokesman Erik Dorey responded with a statement saying "Mark has repeatedly voted to ban late-term and federally funded abortion practices.
