Restaurant employees held at gunpoint for 2 hours; two teens arrested
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) —
Two teenagers are facing a multitude of charges after they held the employees of an Arby's restaurant at gunpoint for more than two hours, according to the Little Rock Police Department (LRPD).Lt. Sidney Allen said the two went into the Arby's at 15501 Chenal Parkway around 12:32 a.m. on Saturday and robbed the store at gunpoint. Police reports show that one of the teens sexually assaulted a woman in the restroom and shot at the store manager, demanding he open the safe.The teens fled in a green Chevrolet Caprice and then collided with another vehicle in the 13000 block of Chenal Parkway.According to the police report, one suspect (passenger) was taken into custody at the scene and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.The second teen (the driver) fled on foot but wasn't found until several hours later.The driver will be charged as an adult with four counts of Aggravated Robbery, three counts of Theft of Property, three counts of Kidnapping, one count of Felony Fleeing and one count of Felony Hit and Run. The passenger's charges will be decided at a later time.The name of the teen being charged as an adult has not yet been released by LRPD.
