Entergy answers frequently asked winter storm questions
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - As Entergy and city crews continue working to clean up after the Christmas blizzard, customers are asking what it's going to cost them.
Entergy Arkansas posted the answers to some of their most frequently asked questions, including the cost of this storm. They said at this point, they do not know the cost of this storm but the ice storm of 2009 costs the average customer a little less than a dollar per month.
The company sold bonds to cover the costs of that 2009 storm. The 92 cents per month cost to customers is a "rider" that will continue for ten years (ending October 2020) to help the company recoup those losses.
