Family Church in Bryant opens new youth facility following fire
The Family Church of Bryant officially opens its youth facility on Sunday, seven months after a lightning strike caused a fire which burned the original building to the ground. The 20,000 square foot building will be known as the TNT Complex.
The new complex will include an auditorium with seating for 300, a coffee shop, game room and various meeting facilities.
A community open house is planned for Sunday from 10:00-10:30 a.m. and Noon-12:30 p.m.
Following the September 2012 fire, as church members gathered for a service around the ashes of the burned out youth facility, Pastor Perry Black said,"sometimes life is challenging and filled with difficulties but God's always capable of bringing people out of the heap and out of the ashes and always puts our feet on a solid rock".
