Family fights deportation after authorities find them undocumented during unfounded drug raid

A Springdale family has until Thursday to try and convince the immigration courts why they shouldn't be deported.

The Reveles family says back in 2006 officers raided their home after receiving a bad tip there were drugs and weapons in the house. Officers found nothing but did learn Francisco Reveles had a legal permit that was only good in Texas, but not in Arkansas.

Now he says eight years later he and his wife face deportation.

"I hope somebody in the Congress can do something for us and our family, my kids, so we can stay a little longer. A miracle. I'm still waiting on a miracle," said Francisco.

Supporters rallied Tuesday in front of Senator John Boozman's office in Lowell.

The family has three children, two born in the US and one who customs permitted to stay.
