Despite the chilly weather, folks in Cabot still headed out to opening day of the Farmers' Market.
Everything at the Farmers' Market is home grown and homemade.
Items include everything from soap to seasonings.
Organizers said it's still early in the season, so things aren't in full swing yet, but many braved the cold anyway.
"We're pleasantly surprised with the amount of people that have showed up, both the vendors and the customers," said Irene Ernst with Cabot City Beautiful.
The Cabot Farmers' Market will be open every Saturday from now until the end of October.
Another Cabot even also showed support for local businesses.
The first Shop-O-Rama was held Saturday at Cabot Junior High North.
About 50 businesses took part in the event.
Shoppers could choose from original artwork, handmade quilts, purses, toys and more.
"It supports local businesses, local small business," said Angela Davis with A to Z Custom Creations. "You know, we work really hard and so it's really great to have everyone under one roof and it makes it so convenient for the shoppers that are here locally, you know, to come out. There's something here for everybody."
The event was created by Positively Cabot's Roberta Calhoun.
