The Arkansas Department of Health is providing flu vaccinesat mass clinics in every county in the state.
Clinics begin Monday and continue through most of November. Each clinic is a daylong event in hopes of vaccinating as many people aspossible. Some clinics even offer "drive thrus" where you can receive the shotwithout even getting out of your car.
If you have insurance, ADH will ask your insurance companyto cover the cost of the vaccine. ADH requests that you bring your insurancecard, Medicare, Medicaid or ARKids cards with you.
If you do not have health insurance, the vaccine is free.
